72 Degrees Air was my 3rd opinion for an A/C that stopped working in over 100 degrees. 3rd time is the charm. My first call was to the company that installed the A/C 2 years ago, but they kept giving me excuses why they could not make it out to my house. After 3 days they told me I needed a particular part that requires 3-5 hours of labor (diagnosed without being at my house or checking the A/C unit or air handler). Then I called another company and they came out the next day. The tech quickly let me know of a leak on the suction line outside of the unit. He could only fill the unit with Freon at this point because their work might void the manuf. warranty. He showed me where the (supposed) leak was and said filling it should last a couple of weeks enough time to get someone else to fix it that is licensed. 24 hours later... no A/C.. the leak must have been bigger than he thought he said...
Then I called 72 degrees and they sent out Mike within a couple of hours. He actually took the time to check the system and yes I did have a leak. The leak was huge and was inside the actual unit. Mike was very professional and the leak was fixed within a couple of hours. I will definitely use 72 Degrees again. Thank you for helping me so quickly and do it the right way.
I didn't need the part the 1st guy said, nor should I have filled the unit with Freon as the 2nd guy suggested (still trying to get a refund for the misdiagnosed leak).
