| - We stayed at this hotel for one night on the way back to California. The reviews weren't the best, but they weren't too bad, so we decided to take a chance. It's located right by the freeway, in a little dead-ended road close to a bunch of work buildings. There's a huge parking lot, but most of the spots were actually filled by the time we arrived.
Pros:
-very "mini" fitness area that consists of a bicycle machine and an elliptical. It's tiny, but it's better than nothing. I don't think there's a TV in that room either.
-fairly big indoor pool that is around 3 ft. deep; can't really swim laps, but good for young children who need something to do
-room was fairy big! I liked the minimalistic decorations and the color scheme. Not too much going on, but I found that I liked it better. They also had a cool lounge area of a couch and table that was separated from the bed area.
-Microwave and mini fridge as well as the other usual items: coffee/hot water maker, TV, hair dryer, etc.
-bathroom area was clean and the tub was pretty spotless which is always a plus!
-LOVED their continental breakfast opposed to the other few hotels I had been to the last few months. This one had a ton of goodies! The breakfast room is located to the right when you walk into the main lobby. There's a fairly decent sized room with maybe about 8-10 tables. There was hot food items like cheese omelets and bacon as well as the usual pastries of bread, bagels, muffins. They also had really good waffle mixes (blueberry AND original) in both the regular waffle form and mini muffin form. There were hard boiled eggs and Oikos yogurt in the refrigerator, an assortment of cereal, oatmeal, and fruit and the usual juice, coffee, milk, etc. I was really pleased by how good the breakfast was! And so were all the other guests because it was pretty packed in there.
-bed was comfortable!
-workers were really nice
Cons:
-the very tiny gym (but I guess only if you look at it from a glass half empty perspective)
-hotel is a little far off from most food areas
-Wi-Fi was a bit spotty and would go in and out at random times
tl;dr - Overall, a great hotel to stay at if you're looking for someplace to sleep for a few nights. Really liked the continental breakfast - that was a big plus for me! We only stayed here one night, but it was a pretty good stay. Super close to the freeway, which was really nice.
