  • I have to show the Plaza some love here! I'm so surprised to read about the negative experiences people have had. I've stayed in hotels all over Vegas on many occasions and I would rank this as a great hotel for the price range. Yes, it's an older hotel (although nicely updated). Yes, it's downtown (and absent of the $25+/night resort fees the strip hotels have). But my room, the view (straight down the Fremont Street Experience), and the pool were fantastic! Everything was very clean (I looked VERY closely) and the customer service was great. If you're looking for an affordable Downtown hotel, I'd recommend giving the Plaza a try.
