  • I don't usually go to stand alone Starbucks. I always find the ones in Chapters more pleasant. This is my go to spot and I always get my order quick. There's plenty of parking available. The staff here are amazing and really hold up the Starbucks hospitality. Today, I ordered my usual green tea latte. I always order this drink and today there was a funny aftertaste. It was a bit on the sour end but not so much like totally spoiled milk or anything. I just let the barista know it tastes a bit funny and immediately she offered to remake the drink. I switched it to soy milk hahaha... Once you've got sour in a milky drink, you don't much want to try again haha. But she immediately checked the milk and let me know sure will be checking the other milk they have in stock just to be sure it's all okay. I love that she took the time to just check for themselves. They definitely we're NOT using expired milk. Could be that one bag was not sealed properly when packaged or something else, but I've had Starbucks for years and never had any issues. They definitely uphold their quality standards here. She went above and beyond to make sure the next latte would be perfect. :) Wish I caught her name.. worked morning of July 26th haha! If you ever read this, thank you again!
