  • Ratings are based on the few items I am obsessed with. First of all, I love that there is a nice pastry shop with delicious and buttery croissant so close t omy home town. However, I seem to forget the they are always closed on Monday --- and that's when I happen to feel the urge to go pick up some pastries (few times this happened). I am a fan of their lemon tart -- usually I don't like such sweet and heavy things but this tart tastes so fresh and delicious with a shortbread like crust. pistachio/ rasberry mousse cake -- omg SO good! I'm usually not in love with pistachio but this combination is not too sweet and also tastes really delicious. it has a similar crust/ bottom of the cake as the tart which i really enjoyed . I think the chestnut cake Mont Blanc was too creamy for me and usually I enjoy chestnut but not as a whole cake.. I love their honey twist croissant. It is truly soft/ flaky/ buttery/ and sweet all together. I love their regular butter croissant and love their soupy croissant when heated. It looks like alittle boat/ bowl filled with cream of chicken soup like filling. AMAZING!!! my fiance and friend loves their ham & swiss croissant. it must be their croissant that everyone loves! I also enjoy drinking their matcha latte. I dislike how sweet the starbucks green tea latte is and this matcha is just really really good. Why the missing star? --- lack of seats/ crowded during certain times, croissant or drinks not available at certain times of day (it must be my timing --- either I go end of the day or first thing after church and nothing is ready yet). Also ,, my beloved OOLONG and GREEN TEA flavoured macarons are taken out of their menu. It has been a few times that they didn't have any and they said they are probably fading it out. I'm so sad because it was so delicious. The oolong flavoured mararon at Butter avenue didn't even taste good .. but Duo did it so well!
