  • This place is just amazing, today we had to make a very tough choice to put down our wonderful mare Phoebe. The whole staff was just supportive and understanding. They gave us every option and told us the truth rather then trying to sugar coat it or get more money out of us. Phoebe had very aggressive skin cancer, while we could have spent every last dime we had to do the surgery, Dr. Jennifer Boeche was honest with us that given the way it had already developed it would most likely come back. In a tough time that kind of honesty was really needed. We didn't want phoebe to suffer just to have to go through it all again. They let us take as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes. I know she went peacefully and knowing how loved she was. Thank you Dr. Jennifer Boeche and the whole staff at Desert Pines for taking such good care of us and our hooved family member..
