For many years I have used the Humane Society low cost vaccine clinic and have always received good service, today was a different story. I took the day off day just to get my dog her shots and to take off my to do list. I was expecting to take a number, find a seat and wait my turn as this is how it had been in the past. I completely anticipated a long wait and was prepared, apparently they have changed their system. I went to the line that was already formed and asked the people in front of me how this was to work and nobody knew. There were no signs, no instructions and no one came out to talk to us. After 45 minutes of standing there I decided to go in and ask what the protocol was and the girl at the desk told me someone will come out in an hour and give us a number, then after that we wait to be called. So you wait forever just to get a number and wait another who knows how long just to get the shots. Meanwhile everybody in line was getting drenched with their over active water misters. The Arizona Humane Society need to decide weather or not they want to be a real vet clinic and take appointments or a low cost clinic and staff properly in order to handle the crowd. I myself and Phoenix community have supported AHS for many years and was very disappointed to be treated this way.
