I arrived this morning at South Hills Gastroenterology Center 10 minutes prior to my 9 AM appointment. By 10:15 AM I had not been admitted to see the doctor. When I asked how long it was going to be--and threatened to leave if I weren't seen in the next few minutes--they mysteriously took me right in. Total face time with Dr. Mason was two minutes. The floors of the examination room were filthy, the tile worn and the entire complex very shabby in appearance. Given all of the controversy in Clark County Nevada surrounding gastroenterology center abuses, one would think that South Hills would be doing everything in their power to erase the perception of abuse. Apparently this is not so. I sorely wish my insurance would provide me with another option for I really do not want to go back.
