  • Very hit or miss with what you order. Fish of the day was uni, and uni being my favourite food of all time, I didn't hesitate to order. Usually skeptical to order uni at a non-well known japanese restaurants, just because I've had so many terrible unis in Toronto, and so few that are above average. Since it's Japanese tapa/izakaya style, food came one after another, with a few minutes for us to digest in between each. The wait was never long. Tako Wasabi was VERY wasabi-y, the wasabi feeling was shooting out of my nose and made me super teary. It was way too strong. On the other hand, the best takoyaki I've ever had. The miso udon was mediocre, but the skewers and uni was amazing. The quality of the uni shooter was significantly different from our fish of they day uni sushi. For the price, you really can't complain about the quality of the food ($2 ish for tako wasabi, etc.) Service was excellent, they even greated us out of the door when we were leaving.
