High expectations for this restaurant as it was highly ranked on a number of lists of top restaurants (both in Montreal and across Canada). The restaurant delivered on a number of fronts: desserts (maple profiteroles, apple tart, ice cream), salad (featuring cheese of the moment: burrrata) and the ambience (classic Montreal kinda Parisian, as promised). Only place we were slightly underwhelmed was the main courses: steak frites (hanger steak was tasty but a bit tougher than I like) and their lemon chicken was just ok. The wine suggested was perfect. Overall, we would return to further explore the menu.
