We got a swe-et deal on our suite (get it?). $150 on a Sunday night. For the price, the place was awesome. We had a jacuzzi tub with marble floors, double sinks, complimentary water, and a fridge. We had just stayed at the Bellagio where if you even open the fridge they charge you $20 with their stupid infra-red sensors, so it was welcoming to be able to use the fridge. The mini-kitchen was stocked with dishes and ... wine glasses.
So we opened up a bottle of wine and drank wine in the jacuzzi. It was super-relaxing and felt decadent. I felt like I was in a music video or maybe a cheesy porn.
We checked out the pool, and I think Trump ran out of money when it came to the pool. The lounge area was great, but the pool looked like a kiddie pool -- I was expecting gold trimming around the pool or some fountains, but it was nothing special.
It's kind of weird to walk in and not hear a casino or shops -- this felt like a hotel and a place where you can get away from it all, which is very rare in Vegas.
I would definitely stay here again if they keep up the deals! Even with the $15 "resort" charge to pay for the valet parking, it's well worth it.
