  • The plus side of this place is that they always have great items for sale and the owner is really knowledgeable about animals. The issues I have though are that the owner is just generally unfriendly and that the couple times I've had my pet groomed haven't been worth the money spent at all. I've never had a pet store with a scarier disclaimer form for grooming services (basically you have to sign that anything that might happen to your animal is not their problem or responsibility - even if they mess up and cut your beloved pet) and then they demand you pick up the pet immediately! Even though they went well over time and I had run out to grab a few items, I felt pressured to pick up my dog within half an hour of her cut as I was told it wasn't a daycare service. I usually go to another place on King street. Slightly less expensive, way friendlier service, a reasonable disclaimer form and if I'm an hour or so in picking up my dog, they never sweat it.
