| - What an amazing little find nestled in the a little island of businesses by the theaters. When I am craving a pastry, I don't want store bought, processed sweets. I want from scratch, quality ingredient decadence. GGB did not disappoint. We got a little bit of everything and took them home to try over the next couple of days. We picked up vanilla macaroons, a coconut macaroon, and a strawberry macaroon for our on the drive home samples . The texture is perfect. Light and airy with a crisp, not crunchy outer. I loved the coconut, my daughter loved the strawberry and my son loved the vanilla. The rest of our order consisted of a chocolate eclair, a fruit cream eclair, a millionaire bar, cinnamon rolls, and 4 cupcakes(cookie butter, raspberry cheesecake, triple chocolate, and peach cobbler). As soon as we got home, we split the fruit cream eclair, the peach cobbler cupcake, and the triple chocolate cupcake 5 ways and it was the perfect sampling portions. The peach cobbler is really worth going in for alone. It was divine (and I'm guessing seasonal) and I will be making excuses to go in the area just to get another one...or begging my fiancé to bring one home. The triple chocolate, was also mouth watering. I've got to admit that I thought the whole cupcake craze was silly and that cupcakes were highly over rated. The GGB has completely changed my mind. They are moist and delicate and not overly teeth rottingly sweet. I will update after I try the cinnamon roll, millionaire bar, and chocolate eclair, which I am looking forward to more than I'm willing to admit.
