| - Atop the outside of the cadillac, um, well, sits half a cadillac. like, lengthwise, half a cadillac. and inside, when ive come by and theres a band playing it feels like theyre playing cadillac music. and the walls feel like a cadillac, with elvis posters, and other cheesy paraphernalia. now, to be fair, i rarely sit in the bar/front room at all but i remember that it is always dark, yet not gloomy, but bar-like, not taverny, not pubby, but brass rails and wood.
the main attraction, which causes me to fly through the inside of the place, is the outside of the place, because the cadillac has perhaps the largest patio ive ever seen at a bar in toronto. roughly half of it is covered with a roof, yet open to the air from the adjacent part of it that is completely open, no roof at all, and the place to go to smoke.
the beer selection at the cadillac is pretty good, not just boring staples and their food is tasty too--especially the nachos. it always has a bouncing vibe, most especially in the spring and summer time but the staff is always a bit slow and forgetful.
this is a great place to go with large groups and a rowdy crowd.
