  • Initially the experience was pleasant. Although I was offered wholesale for my exquisitely maintained vehicle. I was told to get an appraisal at Carmax too. Most are unaware that Carmax is no longer a good place for appraisal. Their no haggle is not good. They to offer low wholesale auction price for used vehicles. Then sell really high. I ended up getting about $1500 more than wholesale at fletcher. Not happy but took it. I then paid retail for a nice E 350. Two weeks later I was reconsidering a different vehicle for personal reasons. The salesperson at fletcher was someone I trust. I went back to him and his desk manager offered me $12,000 less than what I just paid them for the 350 two weeks ago on the trade. I was furious. The exchange was not necessary I like the car. The desk manager Sebastian gave the quote. I was later told, after I discussed a bad review they were going to receive, that they made a mistake. Then they offered me $6,000 less for the vehicle they swore was worth the asking price 2 weeks ago was now $6 thousand less. More insulting was they wanted full retail for the other vehicle I may have wanted. This is horrible customer retention. That or Mercedes are junk? I'd say slimy management. My advice is to know your vehicles worth. If they offer you wholesale auction price ask for several thousand more depending on your vehicles value. If it's. 100k car ask 10 k more. Then if your purchasing a different used car apparently they are jacking the price by at least 6 k or 10% over true retail so offer about 8 to 10% less. If they don't take the deal walk out especially at the end of the month. This is probably true about most car dealers unfortunately. I hope someone learns from my mistake. Please reach out if you are going here and I will try to help you determine a good value for your car and what you should give for theirs. Sebastian would be removed from any deal I would ever make in the future. Also never buy they first day you look. Shop around. They proved untrustworthy. I'm happy I want back two weeks later to look at a different vehicle. They showed their true colors. This was not the sales persons fault. This is management.
