  • I found an injured little blue bird in my yard. I quickly scooped it up and placed the bird in a basket. We have a lot roaming cats in my neighborhood so I knew if I left the bird where it was it would be someone's dinner. I wasn't sure what to do, after a bit of searching, I found the name of CWR on another rescue site. I texted the number on their website like it said to do. I got a text back within a few minutes. I was able to send the number a photo of the bird, then I drove the little guy over to CWR. Their location is in Indian Trail so for me, it was a hike, but I'm glad there are organizations like this!
