You're much better going to the Winners or Marshalls (in Heartland as well, and owned by The same parent company - TJX) and check the home section. You'll often find the same things - fresher pieces and at a better price. The obvious, however, is that the selection is way smaller. I would still strongly suggest visiting atleast Winners before you make your way to Home Sense. For kitchen needs, visit Kitchen Stuff Plus. It's cheaper than Home Sense and the quality much better, as is the selection. Another major issue I've found at this particular location is damaged pieces strewn across the store, without any red tags (discount price tags). I wanted a damaged piece because I felt I could make it work - so I asked for a discount. They gave me a $1 off. Ofcourse, I didn't buy it. Home Sense will never be my first stop again!
