If it weren't for the utmost and upbeat example of great customer service, you can best be sure this woulda been a one or two star at best.
Had the unfortunate incidence of having a loose metal object (looked like a tool that bounced off a truck that I did not see who) bounce and smack my windshield on the north 51. Upon making the appointment via my insurance, the crack was small enough to be repaired, but had spread up to before my appointment.
Get there for my appointment and they say I'll be seen shortly....30 minutes later, and no one has come to see me for my windshield. Now granted, this would've caused other people to be up in arms, but be it I didn't have anywhere pressing to be (I was apartment hunting), I expressed in a calm/firm manner I been waiting for an absurdly long time, despite having an appointment.
The gal at the front desk was genuinely mortified and apologized profusely. She sent someone out immediately and then determined my windshield had to be fully replaced due to the nature of the damage. They gave me free wiper blades that woulda cost me $40 and squeezed me in the next possible open time in the day to put the windshield on due to the original appt scheduled for repair only.
Not only did I get a good install job, but I got free new (and badly needed) wipers out of the deal. All with a friendly attitude and smile! Great job Safelite!
