We just ate breakfast again at Scratch House and enjoyed a leisurely and delicious brunch after the parade. We arrived a bit ahead of the post-parade rush, and the waitstaff was friendly and attentive to us. The chef even came out to answer a few questions about the menu, which was kind of him especially as it's a breakfast menu!
Their coffee is delicious and rich and my husband enjoyed his fresh-squeezed orange juice. He got the breakfast burrito with their house potatoes and a fresh baked biscuit on the side. The biscuits are fluffy and tender and the potatoes crisp and flavorful. I didn't get bit of his burrito, but it must have been good because it disappeared so quickly!
I ordered the french toast, which I highly recommend. It's more like custard than french toast, creamy, light and dotted with cream and fresh berries. Delicious!
