When looking for a quick pedi, this friendly neighbourhood place is great. It has changed management a number of times over the years and really tightened practices around hygiene. The whirlpool tubs have been replaced with plastic tubs and they change a liner with each use. Not environmentally friendly, but clean.
The cost is about half what I would pay in a high end spa, and my expectations are adjusted accordingly. There is no set receptionist and the aestheticians take turns answering the phone, so sometimes you will be mid pedi and they will have to take the phone. Lots of mother and daughter pairs and the occasional man in here. Kids pedis are circa $20 and they usually do a fun design on the big toes for them.
They also do inexpensive waxing with strip wax in the back rooms.
