BUYER BEWARE!
My wife and I were traveling to see some family out of state and found a certified pre-owned jeep with less than 30k miles own it from the previous year. We were already looking at a local Jeep but were excited to find a similar vehicle that was certified.
We drove 3 hours out of the way with the intention of trading in the vehicle we were driving and continuing out trip with our new jeep. The day before we left our sales associate Christian. Called to tell us he wouldn't be in, but all everything was done.
After a 13-hour road trip we were ready to buy, we walked in and the first thing the other sales associate (Chris) said was do you have your title and check. We asked him if we could see the jeep first and he said "sure." Immediately we realized there was a lot more damage to the vehicle than was indicated from our phone conversations and that wasn't shown in the photos. There were about ten 1-3 ft scratches in the hood down to the paint. A golf ball size dent in the roof and the door panel on the rear driver's side door was ruined. The door interior paneling on the rear door needing replacing and the rear driver's side wheel well wasn't secure.
We asked why they hadn't fixed these issues or why they hadn't told us about them over the phone. They said they didn't want to do to much work to the car, because they wanted to keep the price low. They then told us the three months "bumper to bumper" warranty only covered mechanical issues and that all used vehicles came with dents and scratches... of the five dealers I spoke to about purchasing a vehicle, this one was the least honest and the biggest waste of my time.
