I solemnly swear to visit the Las Vegas Farmer's Market at Bruce Trent Park every Wednesday (if only to get my Ruse Vegan Kitchen fix). This small farmer's market is open 2-8PM. While visiting in the midst of summer is mind numbingly hot, the market makes the heat (more or less) tolerable because the vendors are all arranged in the shade.
Produce wise, there were 2 vendors. The first had maybe 5 tables full of veggies and fruits. The second vendor was smaller and only sold cherries, strawberries and grapes. If you're looking for nuts, there's plenty of that here too. I picked up 2 bags of pistachios, 1 container of spicy corn nuts, and 2 bags of dried fruit for $20.
Besides Ruse Vegan Kitchen, there was a Crawfish place where we grabbed some fries ($4) and canned sodas. The Art Coffee Bus was also in attendance along with 2 other food trucks. The Las Vegas Farmer's Market at Bruce Trent Park may not be the biggest market in town, but it's worth a visit if you live nearby.
