| - Two girls at check-in working, both assisting other customers. One girl finishes, continues to do some busy work without even acknowledging me standing in line. This goes on for around a minute. She then says goodbye to her coworker, seven minutes till 3:00, grabs her purse, then leaves? I'm the only one in line, and she can't take two minutes to check me in? Check-in is 3:00, & they schedule one of the two girls to get off work at seven minutes till 3:00?
Both these girls had what I call "DMV Power Trip", the kind of people who have literally nothing going for them, except for the power they feel when they're at work. The power to make people wait, similar to DMV employees. Deep down inside they're so shallow & empty, this is the only thing that makes them feel good. No sense of urgency, WHATSOEVER!
Second girl engages her customer in lengthy conversation about nothing in order to keep me, & a new arrival standing behind me, waiting as long as possible. It's finally my turn, & she proceeds to do the exact same thing to me. I refuse to reciprocate, grab my room key & split posthaste in such fashion as to make it evident that I won't participate in her antics.
Room was great. Lots of space and very clean and quiet. Free drink coupon at check in saved me five bucks. Bell service at departure was fast & very courteous.
Overall, a good stay, with the notable exception of the bozos at the check-in desk. Again, only one girl working at 3:00 for check-in??? Bad management, period!
