  • The highlight of my Pittsburgh trip! This was first on my to-do list, and so glad I had the chance to experience the one of a kind museum. Sad to see they have so few reviews. Admission is $10 w/ student ID and $15 for general admission. They're currently under construction for a new exhibit, but there is still enough art to enjoy for around 2 hours. I highly recommend going as early as possible to enjoy the collection of permanent and temporary installations by different artists. They are open 10 AM-5 PM Tuesday-Saturday and 1-5PM on Sunday (Closed on Monday). Sis and I got there right before 11 on a Friday and were able to enjoy most of the installations by ourselves, felt like the entire museum was reserved for us! People started pouring in by noon, and we were so glad we got all our insta pics in before then. It's located in Mexican War Streets near all the other beautiful historical buildings, hip coffee shops, and Randyland. There are 2 buildings open to visitors, and they're blended in with the residential buildings on Sampsonia Way so may be kind of hard to spot at first. Oh, and NSFK (Not safe for kids) More like kids are not safe for the art actually.
