It's a larger library in the area - I think it's classified as a "priority branch". They have a couple of extra map passe draws for free passes to different attractions for around the city. It's a lotto system. They start drawing at 10am on Saturday. Every week draws a decent crowd so get there a bit earlier - and keep your fingers crossed for the passes you want.
I find the staff here often times slow, and there seems to be a lot of staff just around - but it still feels inefficient. I've been around during closing time, and sometimes they decide to shut down sign out stations when big lines are forming at the checkouts- doesn't make sense.
There is a decent section of dvds- lots of computer stations, study areas, different language books - large chinese section of materials (large asian population around that area) and they have community workshops and courses here as well - which are good qualities of a library. They also have art for sale hanging on their walls - it's nice to see bits and pieces of the community here.
The aura of the library isn't the best though. It's pretty dark in there. The children's area is great though - lovely area - lots of lights and windows, with an interactive area for kids! However, the rest of the library is generally pretty dimly lit, and has a "cold" feeling.
Parking lot is small - but agincourt mall is like 10 steps away and you can always park there and walk over.
