  • I have to say the store is very nice. It is well displayed and very appealing. The problem is the staff and customer service. I went to the store twice looking to purchase new ski gear for my wife and I and our two kids, both times I was there I left after about 10 minuets because I was never acknowledged by the staff of about 6 people working. I ended up going to Sport Chalet and purchasing four full sets of equipment ($3,500). I try to shop local and independent retailers (especially for big purchases), but the folks at Mcghies acted like they didn't want my money.
