This use to be my favorite Jiffy Lube until today. The new Manager (or Asst. Manager) came out telling its going to1hr before they can get to me. The only problem (to me) is that there were only 2 cars ahead on me, each in of their own lane. So this caught me by surprise and asked why so long. He tells me to do the math and it will be 60m and on top of that he got into this defensive stance with an attitude. For a minute I thought we were about to throw down in the parking lot because I'd challenged him. So I was like whatever, maybe he had a bad day and I went to the waiting room, sat down for one minute, then he calls out the 1st Customer who then pays and leaves then 10 minutes later the second customer pays and leaves. Then 20 minutes later my vehicle was ready. Overall it was 30 minutes like normal.
Thinking back on it, it felt more like the Manager was trying to upset me so that I would take my business elsewhere which still doesn't make sense since they still had 2.5hrs left in their day.
My guess is that their location get tons of Phoenix afternoon sun & summer heat all over the Garage Bay where they all work with garage doors open without AC while they're servicing other vehicles.
