  • I see people are rating these apartments who "visited" but don't or haven't lived there. How do I start this off. ROACHES. The gates never worked the ENTIRE time I lived there. There are VERY ghetto apartments across the flood way (which don't get me started on the smells, they are AWFUL some days. ESPECIALLY during the summer) We lived in the back next to the wall which is not A good location but it is where we were placed due to availability. We would literally watch police raids occur at the Promenades (apartments across the way). The moment we moved is when A guy broke into an apartment in broad day light and as he was running from the police asked if me and my neighbor if we could hide him. You cant make this stuff up. Although Pennacle has improved the apartments visually the issues still remain. Especially with the AC units. I think they all need to be replaced. Pros are the price, floor plan, how nice the office staff is, and the convenience of living next to everything. PS the roaches seem to be selective. Some of my neighbors had them and others "claimed" they did not. I don't know how they choose which apartments to invade. But when they do may God and Raid help you. Don't let the apartments spray their sugar water. It's like crack to them. If you choose to live here goodluck to you. Maybe your experience will be better. Also the apartments have been renamed Safari, Stonegate West, now Viridian Palms. Do. Your. Research.
