| - Had dinner here tonight with a friend. A little hard to find, had to drive around the center for a minute. Decor is standard Asian restaurant fare. Service was slow and impersonal. In their defense, it seems like they have two servers to wait on and bus the entire restaurant and they were fairly busy tonight.
Food - Tom yum soup was ok (kind of hard to screw up). I ordered some fried squid which was hard and tasteless and the sauces seemed off. The waitress took that off our bill when I asked her to take it away after barely eating any. Sea bass with ginger sauce was decent, not great.
My friend ordered the fresh spring rolls and veggie delight, which were both a little better than my food (we shared), though those seemed more along the lines of Chinese-American dishes than Thai food. Maybe I ordered the wrong things or it's mainly geared towards the vegetarian food, but I thought everything about the place was pretty mediocre. They do have a large vegetarian section in an already large menu, but it's not that hard to find good vegetarian friendly meals in any Thai restaurant.
I love Thai food, but I can't see myself coming back here. The food tastes more like an average Chinese restaurant than a real Thai place. It wasn't too expensive fortunately - about $55 for one appetizer, a cup of soup, two entrees, and two beers, plus tip.
