Went here today because it was on the way to a destination and near by. I've been trying honey walnut shrimp/prawns at different places to see where I can find a favorite. I was by myself and made a smoothie for my journey so I didn't need a drink and planned to tip well because of it. Definitely got a weird look but I expected that.. The dining room is just a big open room and lots of white linens so it's very bright. The food came in a flash and was delish. The shrimps were huge and the batter was almost perfect, slightly mushy, but I liked it. I always ask for extra sauce to mix with the rice and it was a good amount. I'm kind of a stickler about rice, growing up in a half Japanese household. The rice was the best so far although still kind of dry but I can imagine because it's made in copious amounts. I asked the server for a box because I had about 6 shrimp I couldn't finish. The server brought the box and offered to pack the food for me :). I declined nicely because it was only a couple shrimp.I asked for the check accidentally assuming he would have brought that too. After ten minutes I think he might have forgot, trying to make eye contact with other servers was difficult as they seemed uber focused on other things or not really wanting to help a solo eater such as myself haha. Eventually I got my bill and due to the tasty food and maybe for them to pay attention to people like me in the future I tipped well and left with a happy tummy. :) I will be back.
