  • I was excited to finally try an Indian head massage and thrilled that it would be done by an rmt. While I do feel that the massage therapist did a good job on my neck, the actual head massage felt really painful. I kept waiting to feel relaxed and for that great feeling you get when someone actually massages your head... but it never came. It felt like my hair was just being pulled out of my scalp and fingernails digging in. I winced throughout the appointment and wondered if maybe it was just part of the process of applying the oil. Except it ended up lasting the entire time. And to be honest, I've actually had a horrible headache all day/night since. The music was calming but I kept getting distracted by Justin Bieber coming through the floor from another store. I could also hear talking in the halls and the cars and outside traffic since I was put in a room facing Bloor. I did not find the receptionist even remotely friendly or inviting. If anything she was cold and rude and seemed like she couldn't be bothered. Since I have never had this type of massage before I can't compare, but it definitely turned me off of having another one and I can't say I'll be returning to this location for another type of massage. The price was not worth it, or the experience overall.
