  • I've been here twice now: once to get advice on the best products to clean my cloth and suede sneakers (WHY WHY WHY do I only like suede sneakers?!) and to get the heels on my boots recapped. The guy who works there (and who possibly owns the place) is super friendly and helpful. He has no problem dropping what he's doing and giving his full attention to clients as soon as they come in the store. The store itself is small, full of shoe fixing equipment and an overflowing pile of shoes ready to be picked up. When I came in to get my caps fixed, he looked at the clock and said that if I had 10 minutes to spare, he could fix them there and then. He fixed them up, gave my shoes a quick shine and I had them in my hands 10 minutes later. $15. I will definitely be taking any of my shoes that need fixing here in the future. They also fix purses, apparently.
