  • I have actually been going to Addison for over 20 years now. It has evolved from a dingy place to buy industrial castoffs into quite a huge operation. If you are looking for anything electronic that is out of the ordinary, for parts to build a speaker, for wire to hookup your windmill, for a solar panel, a DC motor or a bag of LED's, Addison is your best bet! The customer service is quite good and friendly, and it is one of only three or four places in Montréal to buy electronic components. Adddison (along with Abra and Madison Electronics in Laval) is only three places in Montreal where you can actually touch and handle the electronic components before buying. For students and people looking to do their first project, it is invaluable to be able to pick something up and turn it compare it to the part in the next bin. Prices are excellent, although you will certainly spend more than you expected as you will see things you never knew you wanted!
