| - Ok, y'all. The room was attractive, clean, and comfortable and the soap/hair products were super nice. We ate in the hotel several times and had really good experiences at Ri Ra and Boiler Room. Orchid has free coffee refills until noon and the coffee is about a dollar less than the $5 coffee you can make in room. Buffet was legit but during the holiday period it is more expensive. Go for lunch when it is not a holiday. Oh, and House of Blues has great happu hour specials. It was winter and only Moorea Beach Club was open. The pool is small but WARM AND SUNNY. The hot tub was also open there, right next to a bar, which I did not expect. On our 3rd morning, we didn't have any cold water running...we could not even flush the toilet (boo). We were comped the spa so we could shower and I was so happy to be able to use the nice gym inside (yay). The cardio room which is available to everyone without spa fee was hot, musty, and super crowded when I went earlier in the week and I was really having anxiety about going in there again. By the time I returned to my room, the water was back. There was one more issue: I don't know if something broke, but we had to wait at least 20 minutes to leave the parking lot one day. People just kept parking it at the exit like they didn't know how to pay, and the hotel had to send attendants out. Somehow the stars did not align and we were the last of about 20 cars to be assisted out, even though we started off 3rd in line...The following day, attendants were outside again so I guess the issue was not fixed. On both days, we used our room keys with prepaid parking and they worked straight away. Overall: I would stay here again, but it's more work than I expected from a nice resort hotel.
