| - This casual dining restaurant is not hard to find so I am surprised no one has yet Yelped about it, but they should have! I went to this cafe for the first time before I saw a movie at Harkins 101 up in North Scottsdale. The restaurant is right next to the movie theater entrance; the decor is nice and it has an outside patio. You can either order at the counter or sit and have a server take your order. Either way, the menu is the same and it is delicious. Not exactly cheap, but delicious, and the portions are very large.
I ordered the caprese sandwich. Warm, oven fired bread, plenty of mozzarella cheese and tomato, pesto, basil, a large side of fries and a fresh salad. So much food that my friend and I said we should have split our lunch. After a lunch of attentive and terrific service, when they asked if we wanted a box , we sadly said, no. We were going to the movies. THIS IS THE BEST PART OF OUR LUNCH! They brought us boxes and kept them for us in their fridge until after the movie!!! We got to take our doggie bags home after all.
Upon leaving the movies, we stopped back in, picked up our sandwiches, and I was able to enjoy my lunch again the next day. Way to go Cafepino. I will definitely be back!
