They overbilled me so consistently for Prism TV/internet that I considered contacting a lawyer, especially when one of the dozens of reps I spoke to told me their system was actually not capable of billing people correctly. So I can imagine how many people might have been affected over the years and how many might not have spent the *literally* 30+ hours on the phone that I did over the course of a year trying to get my money back.
The final kick in the pants was when I called to cancel when my contract would soon be up and they told me I was cancelled and gave me a confirmation number. Lo and behold, I continued to receive bills past the date of the expired contact. And yes, I did cancel in time. Understanding my bill and contract was literally a part time job of mine.
I called them and was told the rep who cancelled me had not actually done that and there was nothing they could do to reverse the charges, even though I had a confirmation number and they had a recording of the conversation.
And for all of this aggravation and time you often get to speak to a downright rude, condescending, ill-informed, unsympathetic "Customer Service" representative.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
