| - I have gone to this location for several years, and in that time I have bought several sets of tires etc. They seem to be good with tires, but a few years ago they didn't check the power steering fluid, and I burned out the pump. They INSISTED that they had checked it, and there had to be a leak. I took it to another mechanic, and there was no leak, they simply hadn't checked the level. Recently I took it for an oil change and inspection. They said I needed a new cabin and engine air filter, I told them I could do it myself, and they tried to sell me complete new control arms and bushings. I bought the filters online and when I went to change them, the engine air filter screws and cover were completely loose! I went to my other mechanic and he inspected the car and said while the car didn't need the new control arms and bushings for several more months, there WAS a leak around the "V-Tec" valve that was leaking oil down over the engine. Somehow Firestone had completely missed the leak. The only thing I'll take my car to Firestone again for will be for tires, if then.
