rev:text	It was my first visit to College Street Animal Hospital with my 14 week old kitten. First the positives, Dr. Saram is indeed very good with cats, he gave her vaccine swiftly and could show me how to brush her teeth and take care of her ears, etc. He was very gentle and kept her happy and rather calm. Tiffany at the front desk was kind to me, helpful in giving my kitten another room because the scent of the dogs was spooking her out. Several of the people working there were very kind to my cat and gave her attention and compliments which helped with her nervousness at being at this vet's for the first time. But I left my appointment feeling very uncomfortable and unsure about how to deal with it. I chose this animal hospital because of its proximity to my home, the good reviews and its reasonable fees. But for all his talents with cats, Dr. Saram's behaviour towards humans was baffling. He yelled at his staff because the room was too hot for his liking, he was patronizing towards me in how he instructed me to understand and take care of my cat, and his approach was not very personable, it was more like a routine spiel. One of the front desk employees was miserable and couldn't utter hello, make eye contact, smile, or even acknowledge my presence. I understand people have bad days, but it made me feel like overall, this animal hospital isn't a pleasant place to work in. I don't expect to be going too often to the vet, but still, I didn't even feel comfortable asking questions because of the environment. I value customer care, and I decided to take my business elsewhere after this first appointment.
