  • Our friends wanted to stay, but honestly I'm not quite sure why. Not the worst, but far from the best location on the strip. It's a good location, but I'd try elsewhere on our next vacation. Edit: Thank you for the reply. I'm not quite sure what makes the Monte Carlo seem less extravagant. Perhaps it's the lower ceilings in the casino area compared to other M-Life properties like New York, New York and MGM Grand.
