  • This place is great and has been for years. It's just about the only place in Pittsburgh where I'm excited about getting Japanese food. Being landlocked and all (and practically the midwest), Japanese, especially sushi, is not so good here. If you are reading this while visiting from a coastal area WAIT TILL YOU GET HOME TO ORDER FRESH RAW FISH! Nothing in Pittsburgh will compare to what you're used to, but if you really, truly have to get some while you're visiting - come HERE. Also, beyond the sushi their food is great! The soups are downright fantastic! Plus everyone is really nice, and the sushi chefs are great :) I'm sad that they have to deal with landlocked fish shipping, but their handywork is awesome.
