| - I like this place for the atmosphere. They have good quality spa chairs, and offer a fairly good selection of pedicures to choose from. Their polish has a tendency to chip & peel after the first few days, so bring your own if you want better polish. You also have to make sure that they are using sterile instruments as some of my other friends have noticed problems in that area.
Now to get to the meat...DON'T let Lily do your nails!!!!!!! I have been to her twice & both times were bad experiences. Lily can do a fine pedicure, but when it comes to fake nails, she is a FLOP!!! She shredded all of my cuticles while sanding down the old nails, I was bleeding so bad that she had to get a paper towel with antiseptic on it. We even took a short break, to wait for the bleeding to stop. REALLY??? WTF???? I have literally been having my nails done for over 25 years, in 4 different states & Lily is by far the WORST nail tech I've ever had. The first time she did them I just thought she must be having a bad day, so I tried her again a few weeks later & she was even worst the second time around. And that's not all!!!! She files too much of the nail down which leaves a very nasty looking ridge when it grows out. So just in case you don't know this, there is not suppose to be a ridge, (which means they are sanding off too much of the real nail) if there is, find another tech. Lily, just doesn't listen to my concerns & fakes that she doesn't understand English when confronted.
So, go for the drinks & the atmosphere. Bring your own polish & stay away from LILY the butcher.
