My stomach is mad at me. I wish I could tell it that it was all for a good cause, but the food was all salt and grease with no redeeming flavor to back it up. I've read a couple reviews referring to a change in the restaurant. I'm not sure if it used to be owned by someone else or something, but I expected a lot more from a place featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. The fried pickles were pretty spectacular but unfortunately was the only highlight of the evening. The chili was too salty and seemed almost gritty and the "cheese" they put on top was mysterious. The burgers were a bit dry and the onion rings were flavorless. I did like the African hotdog, but the chili kind of ruined it. I really wanted to love this place! I wish I could go back in time and see what this place used to be.
