Several weeks ago I took my car in for several issues that had arisen as my warranty is about to expire, one of which was to have them look into a very distinctive noise when shifting gears (manual transmission). I had to take the service manager on a ride and he agreed that he could hear a noise but that they needed to order some parts and that all issues would be resolved when the parts came in. After getting the parts in I scheduled an appointment and left the car. After a day I was informed that only one of the services could be completed due to scheduling issues and that I needed to get the vehicle and bring it back in another week to get the rest done (ok that's slightly frustrating but stuff happens, I get it.) So the next week I dropped off the car again. It took them a week to complete the work and when I was informed that the vehicle was ready they also told me that the technician couldn't hear the noise and that I would need to drive the vehicle for him. Since the technicians here only work till 3:30 I had to go on my lunch break (fine, it happens). Upon my arrival it took the technitian 30 minutes to finally show up to go on the drive. After setting off and having the vehicle make the noise several times he finally told me that he heard it but that he didn't know what it could be so that it was normal and just the way it's supposed to run. I offered up two of the most likely causes that I had researched on my own but he brushed them off and said that "no it's just the way it was designed". I assure you that this is not a normal noise. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this dealership, far far far away. Their technicians are clearly incompetent and their service team did absolutely nothing to help with scheduling conflicts or resolutions to this issue.
