  • On Labor Day,I went to this wonderful all encompassing retrospective of Rock N Roll music from its Blues and Country Music roots to the present day.I relished its wonderful collection of Rock N Roll memorabilia,films,and recordings.I saw excellent exhibits relating to the accomplishments of the Father of Rock N Roll music,Alan Freed,I saw fine exhibits relating to the music of Elvis Presley,the Beatles,Paul Simon,Bruce Springsteen,and Michael Jackson.I learned about such leading Rock N Roll disc jockeys as Martha Jean"The Queen"Steinberg,Larry Lujack,Murray the K.and ,Arnold "WOO Woo Ginsberg,and Bruce Morrow and their on the air radio presentations.I saw an excellent collection of photographs of the giants of Rock N Roll music such as;David Bowie,Paul McCartney,Madonna,and Bruce Springsteen.by Herb Ritts.I listened to recordings of some of my favorites when I was a teenager like;Jackie Wilson,the Everly Brothers,Buddy Holly,and the Shirelles.(all Hall of Famers,deservingly so).I stayed at this museum from 10 AM to 5:30 PM and I could have stayed much longer.Seniors like myself receive a discount.There is a nice cafĂ© that charges reasonable prices for its good food on the premises.The staff of this museum was very enthusiastic and helpful.Rock N Roll is here to stay.
