I came here with a bunch of my friends and had a very disappointing experience. My friend had reserved a specific table and they neglected to put the reservation in the book, and ended seating a table of 8 in a small booth that might comfortably sit 6 if we were all tiny people. That was the beginning of a very frustrating evening.
It seemed as though the place was completely understaffed and it took forever to get our menus, get orders in and receive food and drink. Food and drink was all delivered sporadically. Some people at our table finished their dinners before others even got their's. At the end of the night, I ended up coaching our server (who was on his first day... on a SATURDAY) on how to split our bill. We did ask for split bills at the beginning but he had stopped punching it in as separate orders at one point. We did end up being moved to a more comfortable table as the place got less busy, which likely added to the confusion.
At the end, we got our bills but some of us hadn't noticed that the gratuity had been added and they added gratuity on top. They wanted to take that off (they were okay with 15%, but not a 30% tip, understandably) and it took nearly two hours to get the charges reversed on the cards. TWO HOURS. At the end of the night, we were incredibly pissed off and the staff were really shaken. They really did try to make us happy, but the fact was that the place was understaffed and incredibly disorganized. Why was a new guy taking a table of 8 on a Saturday night? Talk from regulars was that the place had received a big turnaround of staff recently. Not a good sign.
The food and drinks themselves were quite good, but they really need to get their act together at the front of the house.
