We were loyal customers of Brothers Cleaning Services up until today. We have used them for eight years. We typically have two girls for two hours for $75 clean our home top to bottom. We recently had a renovation however I have been doing intermittent cleaning throughout my home. I have not yet touched the master and I was waiting for them to give it a full wipe down. When the girls came over today I told him one hour downstairs and one hour upstairs. In the past it has been fine many times. However this time they sent girls who did not understand what I was saying and did not have their boss clarify what I was saying. Then they tried to upsell us for an additional half an hour of cleaning. They had spent over an hour mopping my floor downstairs talking. So I told her boss that I was not pleased with their upsell. I have been using them for eight years, I was a loyal customer, I'm going back to work and I am looking for a weekly cleaning service. He didn't care. He doesn't care about keeping loyal customers bottom line. His girls did not finish their work upstairs. In one hour upstairs they cleaned half the floor. They clean one bathroom. They did not even bother simply wiping down the master bathroom at all. They argued with their boss that I never told them to clean the master. Which is a ridiculous argument because I am saying to their boss that I want the master cleaned. Instead of offering to clean the master and making a deal with me then instead left the house and almost left their check behind. Then their boss tried to get me to pay for an hour of cleaning. They only clean for 30 minutes. Their boss asked me to send photos of the work that they had done and not done. During this time they sat on my porch with their equipment in their car. Their boss try to get us to pay for all the time and the girls sat on the porch and he refused to answer my calls. It is not the first time that they have sent maids who talk, tried to upsell us, or didn't understand me. This however is the first time that they argued with me, refuse to finish the work, and almost did not even take their check.
