| - Let me explain the one star rating.
I had an EXCELLENT experience with Dr. Daniels and his staff for the eye exam. Couldn't have been more happy with the time he took with me and how informative he was and had previously given him a 5 star rating on Google.
Then, I had a very pleasant experience with the store saleswoman when ordering two pairs of prescription glasses.
But then, when I went to pick up the glasses, unfortunately, one of them was the wrong frame and the new 'saleswoman' couldn't have been more rude and inappropriate.
She did everything she could to try to prove that I had made the mistake which wasn't remotely possible because 1) I had ordered silver frameless lense glasses with gun metal grey sides and they silvered thick brown framed glasses and 2) I had the two frames I ordered and paid for placed directly in front of the saleswoman, on the saleswoman's desk, when I initially ordered.
Then, she looked up the receipt and said, "See, you did order the frames we delivered because the receipt shows you paid $290 for the frames and the frames we made for you are $290, so the glasses we made for you are the ones you ordered" to which I had to point out to her that the frames she was referring to on the receipt were the frames I had ordered for my wife (clearly identified on the receipt as a different brand) and that the pair I ordered were also on the receipt and priced at $220, not $290. She didn't say a word.
Even that wasn't enough "evidence" for her of the mistake they had made so she tried blaming the mistake on me again and blurred out they "would have never made the lenses for the frames you said you ordered because the lenses wouldn't fit these frames."
At the time I ordered the glasses, I had been photographed by the initial saleswoman in the frames I ordered to calibrate my pupil in the lens. I told this new saleswoman to go into the computer and look at the actual photograph that was taken of the fitting to prove to her that I was wearing a different frame in the photo than the one that was delivered. She looked, making certain to express her annoyance.
Needless to say, I was right, the photograph proved that the glasses I ordered were not the glasses they delivered...and she sat silently, didn't say a word or apologize. Nothing.
The most rude person I've ever dealt with in any retail environment. My wife and I were shocked that she was so inappropriate and argumentative with such a demeaning attitude.
I called the manager afterwards to explain in detail what had occurred. He was gracious and
apologized for her behavior but who knows how he'll handle it.
This saleswoman had no respect at all for their customers, or her job, and I doubt you can teach manners and courtesy to an "adult."
As I mentioned, I would highly recommend the eye doctor but couldn't recommend purchasing prescription glasses at this location based on the foul behavior of that saleswoman.
I don't understand why the would possibly employ someone like that to deal with their customers, but that's their issue, not mine.
WARNING: Stay clear of the younger died blond-haired, long finger-nailed 'saleswoman' unless you desire being treated like dirt.
It's really a shame because the rest of the experience, with the doctor and the other staff members, was very professional and pleasant.
P.S. Not that this should be a factor in the treatment of their customers, but I spent over $1,000 to be treated like I was an idiot, an annoyance to their saleswoman and at fault for their clearly obvious mistake.
I'd go back to the doctor for the eye exam but definitely have my glasses made elsewhere, until I'm informed that this saleswoman is employed elsewhere.
P.S.S. I had no problem at all with a mistake being made, mistakes happen, but I decided to cancel the order based on the saleswoman's completely inappropriate behavior. The manager, Steven, graciously apologized again and refunded the charge. So, thank you Steven.
