| - We have been here many times because the food is so good, but this time the service outweighed the food. We went in the early evening and it was not crowded. It took 25 minutes before anyone came over to greet us, get drinks etc. after waiting 15 minutes and watching the servers repeatedly help other tables we went back up to the hostess to ask if there was a problem. Convinced that someone would come over after we requested service, which we should not have to do, we waiting another full 10-15 minutes. We were about to go to the red lobster up the street when we were finally greeted. We were so hungry from waiting for so long that we ordered everything we wanted right then. We didn't wanna lose the waiter after waiting so long. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. Assuming the appetizers would be delivered first. I think that how they work. Needless to say we the. Waited another 45 minutes only to be served our dinners, appetizers never came. I also ordered an $8 drink and it was delivered in a half size plastic cup. Ripped off. The waiter was only working with 1 other table. Only difference is we are white and his other table was 8 black women. He was also black and completely uninterested in helping us. Race probably had nothing to do with it but it sure felt like it did. When we were half way through the entrees, the dumpy manager brought over the tostadas, one of the appetizers we ordered. It wasn't made correctly, did not have any meat as described, and he said he would take care of the apps so we wouldn't have to pay. He seemed like a sociopath, emotionless. After our entrees were finished, the second appetizer arrived. We waited another 25 minutes after being finished before the waiter came over again. But don't worry, he was flirting with the 8top he had, assisted them and stood by their table relentlessly. The funny thing is we had a gift card so we were planning to leave a hefty tip. Waiting forever to be served, not getting the orders right, not bringing the food in the correct order, I felt so ripped off and backwards. I heard a different waiter going over specials with the table behind us which no one ever did with us and said out loud why couldn't we have had that guy. There were 5 bus boys walking around aimlessly. It wasn't crowded but it was the worst server experience I've ever had. It's a shame because the food is so good usually. I am making a prediction that this place is going to continue to go downhill.
