My daughter and I went in for a facial for the 2nd time. She seemed to be pleased as she is only 13. However, my experience was not so great with regard to the actual facial and the constant jabbering during my session about all my imperfections and arguing against what was recommended to me by a dermatologist/a doctor. I know what is wrong with my skin, had at least 25 years of experience to know exactly why my skin is NOT perfect and never will be. But the last thing I want to deal with is an hour of commenting on all my imperfections only to find an hour of up-selling during my treatment, up selling when making an appointment and and after treatment when checking out. It gets annoying and what was supposed to be relaxing time is making me wonder if I will bother returning. The constant, oh I recommend this...that so you don't age sooner...blah blah blah for only $20 more....and me, no thank you while I'm laying back with oil and cream smeared all over my face!! I mean really? Stop it or lose me forever as a customer. The constant up sells to memberships, products, upgrades...and then continuing during the actual treatment when your customers should be able to relax is just wrong.
