| - I should probably just accept the fact that I will never find a great nail salon.
I called to see if they are busy and was told that there is only one technician available and it is first some first serve -- no appointments that day and that she will be available in 20 min. I get there, she is with a client, no problem. The guy at reception, Rudy, tells me that it will be about 5 minutes.
I go outside and wait by my car. About 3 minutes later he comes out to tell me that he
"apologizes" but another customer who was there earlier and left because she decided that she did not want the service is now back and they want to take her. So basically, he was telling me to leave. I just couldn't believe it!! I told him that I am already here, she left, it's first come first serve, and how does it make ANY sense to turn away a customer who has checked and and is Waiting for someone who left earlier that day? UNREAL. He said that this was a very awkward situation and I reminded him, again, that it is not and that I am already here!
Well, I got in and I probably would have been better off giving up my seat. The pedicure was fast and sloppy. the gel mani is SLOPPY and my cuticles are half cut, half not, the polish is lumpy and she also cut me badly enough for my finger to bleed for a good 3 minutes.
It is absolutely pointless to make complaints at places like these because no one speaks English and if they could not take charge of a simple situation in the beginning with their new customer, I highly doubt it wold make a difference for me to complain about her bad job.
The pedi massage chairs are also terrible --
